Your Weekend Planner for April 5-7

Latchkey Kids, Whipporwhil, NRG

Why not go here this weekend?

Okay. First off, this section needs a better name.  Hit up Erin or leave a comment with your suggestions. Whoever suggests the best name will win a super cool prize! Y’all like prizes, right?

If you’re like me, you’re more than ready for the weekend. This week has been a bit of a tease – the days have been awesome but so many of us have been stuck inside at work or school.  But it’s Friday! Bring on the free days!

As always, we’re open until 10pm tonight (Friday), from 10am until 10pm, and Sunday from 11am to 5pm (with member-only hours until 7pm).

Events at Peak

Sunday, April 6 from 1-4pm is the Richmond Family Magazine Camp Fair Expo at Peak Experiences! This fun-for-the-whole family event will showcase over 40 camps from the Richmond and Central Virginia area.  Plus, we’ll have the Boka, Slideways, and Kona Ice trucks, a moon bounce, and a free rock climb for every kid that wants to try it out!

Monday April 7 NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Brian Scott will be hanging out at Peak from 5-6 pm. He’ll be spending a little time with our youth programs and will be climbing and signing autographs!

Weekend Weather

Go play outside.

It’s gonna be pretty!

Friday: High of 83 (!) and low of 54. Might be some rain later.
Saturday: High of 66 but a low of 39…it’s not THAT cold but it’ll feel chilly after the day.
Sunday: High of 63 and a low of 41.  No rain!

New River Gorge

Tonight: High of 85 and a low of 62, with a little wind coming down the mountains at ya.
Saturday: High of 73, low of 49, slight chance of rain.
Sunday: High of 63, low of 51, 10% chance of rain. Worth the gamble if you’re thinking of going on a trip!

Is there something else you think we should tell everyone about? Let us know!
